J-Opps

FAQ

Is J-Opps free?

Yes. Browsing, applying, and RSVPing are free for individuals.

Who can use J-Opps?

Individuals looking for opportunities and organizations offering them. Create an account as either one when you sign up.

How do I apply or RSVP?

Open an opportunity and choose Apply or RSVP. Some opportunities ask a few questions first. Everything you've applied to or RSVPed for is in My Opps.

Why does an opportunity say I may not be eligible?

Organizations can set who an opportunity is for, such as an age range or a life stage. Your eligibility is based on what's in your profile, so keeping it up to date helps you see the right opportunities.

Why can't I see an organization's address?

Exact addresses are only shown to people who have RSVPed, applied, or been accepted, and to the organization itself.

Can I add an event to my calendar?

Yes. Each opportunity date has Add to Calendar options for Google Calendar, Outlook, and a downloadable calendar file that works with most other calendar apps.

How do organizations get approved?

New organizations are reviewed before their opportunities become public. The organization needs a website. If its only web presence is a Facebook or Instagram page, a contact phone number is also required so a reviewer can confirm it's real.

I found something that doesn't look right. What should I do?

Use the Feedback button in the header to report a bug, or to report a listing or organization so an admin can look into it.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account yourself from Settings. If you need help, use the Feedback button and an admin will follow up.
